I sat down with a Head of Compliance two weeks ago

A real-world example of how disconnected compliance systems can create fragmented information flows and why growing organisations may need a more integrated approach.

Two weeks ago I had a conversation with a Head of Compliance at a company in Melbourne. They reached out after an existing client recommended ISOPro.

They are using three different commercial off-the-shelf systems, and are tired of aggregating information and looking between systems to get visibility across their different compliance streams.

In the meeting, it became clear they had outgrown their compliance software and that they needed a whole new approach, rather than a 4th system.

Commercial off-the-shelf compliance software is usually built to handle one or two things well. You can add other systems to cover other requirements, but the gap starts to show when workflows and information become disjointed.

For example, problems arise when a single event affects quality, WHS, and operations at the same time, or when the reporting requirements for that type of event cannot be met easily by combining what each individual system was designed to produce.

If this feels familiar, you aren’t alone. Your tools haven’t kept up with the increased complexity of your compliance framework, because they were never designed to scale with it.

If your current compliance software cannot support the complexity of how your operation runs, get in touch through the link below. I would be happy to talk through your situation.
