Replicating your Processes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evaluating how much change the new software will introduce. <strong>A crucial question!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do you need to adapt your processes to the software, or can the system meet your process requirements? (forms, approvals, workflow, reporting).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for a solution that can replicate your operational processes as closely as possible, to avoid unnecessary process re-engineering and disruptions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Implementation Strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Risks and Expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure there is a realistic, clear and manageable implementation plan to minimise risk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The best software providers offer comprehensive support to make the transition as smooth as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check references!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Ease of Modifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flexibility is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By definition, GRC evolves continually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How easy will it be to make adjustments as compliance requirements evolve or business needs change?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is this included in your support package?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Information Security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Increasingly important.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Where is the data hosted and who outside your organisation has access to it?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How easy is it to export your data in bulk? How does a &#8220;Transition OUT&#8221; look like?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What are the agreed backup and DR protocols? What are the agreed RTO and RPOs?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
